I recently came across a method that claims to fix water-damaged speakers by playing a specific sound frequency. Has anyone tried this approach? I'm curious if it actually works for clearing out muffled or distorted audio, or if it's just a gimmick.

The speaker on my phone started cutting out during calls, which made every conversation sound like I was underwater.
